Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for a Senior Programmatic Specialist to take a leading role in the daily operations, development, and performance of our clients’ digital activation work. This is a pivotal role where you will be entrusted with driving operational excellence across digital channels, contributing expert channel input to the wider marketing agenda, and helping some of Sweden’s most exciting brands achieve their business objectives.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in Programmatic buying and who is ready to take ownership of client accounts and share insights and have real influence on our clients’ strategies. You will act as a key stakeholder for client teams, lead strategy implementation, solve complex challenges, and help translate digital media opportunities into clear business impact for clients.
As a Senior Specialist, you will be trusted to lead higher-tier accounts with complex structures and team setups, while collaborating closely with client teams to ensure campaign quality, profitability, innovation, and growth. You will also mentor junior colleagues, provide guidance and feedback, and contribute to an open, optimistic, and extraordinary team culture.
Key Responsibilities
· Own your discipline across assigned client accounts, acting as the main contact and key stakeholder for client teams.
· Take lead responsibility for higher-tier client accounts with complex structures and team setups, including strategy implementation and problem-solving.
· Oversee the daily operations of accounts, including budgeting, advanced optimization, and comprehensive reporting, ensuring campaigns meet and exceed client and campaign KPIs.
· Collaborate with client teams to ensure account profitability and identify opportunities for growth beyond the current scope.
· Contribute to new business presentations by providing insights, data, recommendations, and estimates for prospective client pitches.
· Attend client meetings to present deliverables, strategies, and tactics, communicating complex digital concepts in a clear and business-oriented way.
· Act as a mentor for junior colleagues by providing guidance, training, and continuous feedback to ensure high standards and strong ways of working.
· Act as a product owner or superuser for a platform, product, or partnership, helping the team stay ahead of best practice and new opportunities.
Skills and Experience
· 3–5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within a media agency environment.
· Proven expertise in Programmatic platforms.
· A strong understanding of third-party platforms and the ability to proactively use tools, data, and insights to improve client outcomes.
· A data-driven and business-oriented approach, with strong analytical capabilities and a track record of translating data into actionable strategies and insights.
· Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several complex projects and stakeholders at the same time.
· A client-centric and proactive mindset, with the confidence to drive dialogue internally and externally.
· Experience mentoring junior colleagues, delegating work clearly, and creating the conditions for timely, high-quality delivery.
· A test-and-learn mindset, with the ability to document learnings, share results, and create compelling cases for continued development.
